Japan Expo 25th Anniversary Versus Fighting Tournament

Big tournament of Street Fighter 6 to celebrate Japan Expo Anniversary.

You don’t celebrate 25 years every year!

Video games and tournaments have always played a major role at our convention. Why not host a Versus Fighting tournament to celebrate our 25th anniversary? The Japan Expo 25th Anniversary Versus Fighting Tournament was born from this desire to outdo ourselves. What could be better than a game that’s been part of our DNA from the very beginning: Street Fighter!

That’s why, since February, we’ve been selecting finalists through Qualifiers to deliver the best possible show on our Také stage during a high-level final!

First Qualifier at Marseille

The First Qualifier took place at Japan Expo Marseille in late February, following which BBoy Kim and Oni-EDO qualified after a thrilling showdown at the booth of our partner 2LIVES, which hosted the Video Games and eSports area at the Marseille festival. 

Qualifiers Ile-De-France

The Île-de-France Qualifiers are taking place at our partner ESPOT. The First IDF x ESPOT Qualifier is scheduled for Friday, May 29, at 150 Rue de Rivoli in Paris’s 1st arrondissement; registration is available here: https://www.start.gg/tournament/japan-expo-25th-anniversary-tournament-1st-qualifier-ile-de-france/details

The Second IDF x ESPOT Qualifier will be held on Friday, June 15, again at ESPOT: https://www.start.gg/tournament/japan-expo-25th-anniversary-tournament-2nd-qualifier-ile-de-france/details

Online Qualifier

Because we also want to give everyone a chance to participate, the Online Qualifier will take place in mid-June, with a partner you’re probably familiar with if you regularly play FGCs.

Last Qualifier

Enfin, le Last Qualifier ! Le Qualifier de la dernière chance, qui se tiendra lors du vendredi 10 et le samedi 11 juillet au Parc des Expositions de Villepinte lors de Japan Expo, votre dernière chance pour vous qualifier à la finale du lendemain ! C’est sur le stand de 2LIVES, notre partenaire tournoi que se dérouleront ce qualifier de la dernière chance !

FINALES A JAPAN EXPO 25

Finally, the Last Qualifier! This last-chance qualifier will take place on Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, at the Parc des Expositions in Villepinte during Japan Expo—your final chance to qualify for the finals the following day! This last-chance qualifier will be held at the 2LIVES booth, our tournament partner.

The top 8 will share the 2 000€ Cash Prize and the public will has his show !
