Children Ticketing Information
Let’s come with your family! On this page, you’ll find information regarding ticketing to come with your kids and teenagers!
Children under 8 y.o.
- Admission to the festival is free for children under 8 years old (up to the day before their 8th birthday), upon presentation of proof of age.
- From the day of their 8th birthday onward, admission becomes payable.
- Free tickets are issued exclusively at the Ticket Assistance desk in Hall 7.
- You must collect them before joining the entrance queues to access the festival.
- The free ticket will only be issued if the parents or accompanying adults hold valid tickets: 1 purchased ticket = 1 free child ticket.
- To get the best prices, purchase your tickets before the festival.
8 y.o. and more
There are no discounts for children who are 8 or more, nor for students.
Underage teenagers under 16 must be accompanied by an adult or have a note of parental consent.

Nursery
A nursery is available for parents, where they can take care of their babies. It is set next to the Info Desk, in hall 6.
It is equipped with tables and a microwave.
Activities
Some activities organized on booths all around the festival are adapted to children.
Lost Children
Lost children and their parents meet at the Information Desk (Point info) of the festival.
- Always keep an eye on your children: Japan Expo is often crowded and it's very easy to lose the people with whom you've come.
- If you find a lost child in the festival, please address the festival staff or take him or her to the Information Desk (Point info).
- Children should always have the phone number of the person taking care of them during the festival (and of their parents), so that they can be contacted in case children get lost. For the youngest ones, you can write down the number on their forearm.
