After all, who better than you—the community—to bring our legendary characters, unforgettable creatures, iconic figures, and even some of our more unexpected creations to life with depth, dimension, flair, and sometimes even a touch of hot glue? The Krosmoz is getting ready to take the stage in your guise at several cosplay events. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate this anniversary—which is unlike any other—in style!

Two contests for everyone to enjoy!

The first highlight of this year’s ANK’OSPLAY: a photo contest running throughout Japan Expo Paris! During the four days of the event, cosplayers in attendance will be able to participate in a dedicated photo shoot in a space designed to showcase their costumes. A photographer will capture each creation from its best angle, paying special attention to details, materials, proportions, and everything that makes a cosplay unique.

Can’t make it to Paris? Don’t worry! The adventure won’t end at the convention gates. After Japan Expo Paris, an online cosplay contest will be launched so that the entire community can also take part in this celebration. This remote event will have its own rules, schedule, and prizes.

One important point to note right away: if you participate in the on-site contest, you will not be able to reuse the same character—and therefore the same costume—for the remote contest.

All cosplays submitted must be based on the Krosmoz universe. Legendary heroes, familiar figures, creatures, supporting characters… as long as the spirit of Krosmoz is there, you’re on theme!

Because cosplay isn’t just about a costume—it’s also an attitude, an energy, a presence, a way of embodying a character… A special catwalk-style segment, right on stage at Japan Expo, will also be offered to those who wish to take the experience even further. It’s an opportunity to strut under the spotlight and the flashes of our camera, bringing their interpretation to life in front of an equally passionate audience.
