ROY THE ART

Roy The Art is an independent art brand founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2020 by a self taught artist with a strong passion for anime and manga. The work focuses on reimagining well loved characters through a fresh and personal lens, while also introducing original characters shaped by imagination and storytelling. Each piece aims to capture emotion, atmosphere, and meaning, rather than simply replicating familiar visuals. The artistic style draws heavily from Japanese animation and manga, combined with influences from Greek mythology, astrology, witchcraft, and the occult. Dark gothic elements, ranging from medieval symbolism to modern fantasy, are often woven into the artwork. This fusion allows the art to feel both dramatic and reflective, blending action, mythology, and quiet emotional moments into a cohesive visual language. Through Roy The Art, anime is explored not just as entertainment, but as a powerful form of visual storytelling that connects cultures. By combining the expressive spirit of Japanese animation with mythological and symbolic themes from around the world, the work invites viewers to see anime inspired art as something deeply human and universally resonant. At the booth, visitors can expect a curated selection of high quality art prints and original designs that celebrate creativity, imagination, and the enduring influence of Japanese visual culture. Each piece is created with the intention of offering fans something meaningful to connect with, whether through character, story, or emotion.
